Documentation is a deliverable, not a favor. Diagrams, credentials, runbooks, and decisions live where your team can reach them.
Mouse IT LLC is an enterprise infrastructure and AI practice built on a simple arrangement: we support what we build, so the design has to be right.
A decade of networks, migrations, and rebuilds behind every recommendation.
Networks, servers, cloud, and security designed and deployed — not just watched.
Diagrams, addressing, credentials, and runbooks delivered with the environment.
No tiered phone tree between you and the engineer who designed your environment.
Started building small business networks in 2015. The work grew with the clients.
Mouse IT started in 2015 doing the unglamorous work — wiring offices, replacing servers nobody had documented, and untangling networks that had been extended one cheap switch at a time. As those clients grew into multi-site operations with compliance obligations and real security exposure, the work grew with them: data center and cloud migrations, identity, segmentation, and now applied AI.
That history is why we build the way we do. We have inherited enough environments put together by people who were never going to be around for the consequences. Everything we deploy is designed on paper first, standardized, labeled, and handed over in a state where another engineer could pick it up cold. If you ever leave us, you will leave with your environment intact. It is a strange thing to advertise, and it is the reason clients stay.
Four commitments that shape every engagement.
Documentation is a deliverable, not a favor. Diagrams, credentials, runbooks, and decisions live where your team can reach them.
Build work is quoted before it starts and support is a defined scope. You should never hesitate to call because of what it might cost.
A recurring problem is a design problem. We spend the time to remove it rather than reselling the same fix every quarter.
We support what we build. When the design is wrong, it lands on our desk first — which keeps it honest.
Before anyone signs anything, we look at what you have: systems, licensing, security posture, spend, and the issues your team has quietly worked around for years. You get that picture in writing whether or not you hire us.
If we are not the right fit — wrong size, wrong specialty, or you simply do not need what we sell — we will say so and point you somewhere better.
The fundamentals have not changed: design before you buy, document everything, and never let a client be surprised by their own environment. What has changed is how much we can automate on your behalf once it is running.
